Once again this year, Activision treats us to the latest instalment in the Call of Duty franchise, and true to tradition, it arrives in the form of a stunning remake. But what a remake it is! Modern Warfare 3, a cherished entry in the series, is being resurrected to the delight of gamers everywhere. Mark your calendars for the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III on November 10.
Just when we thought we might miss out this year, the annual ritual of a new Call of Duty gracing our screens with its presence continues, much to our delight. Following the resounding success of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II remake, which paid homage to its namesake, the spotlight now turns to Modern Warfare III, the sequel, as it takes its deserving place in the remake lineup.
Activision has unveiled this impending release through a concise teaser that refrains from displaying any visuals. The teaser, instead, presents us with a graphical representation of sound waves intertwined with dialogues from the 2011 original. As the teaser nears its conclusion, the curtain lifts, revealing the refreshed logo. This new emblem deviates from the signature green hue, reminiscent of special forces, and embraces a bold blood-red aesthetic. This redesign likely provides a sneak peek into the visual direction of the entire game.
Beyond this intriguing glimpse, the announcement leaves much to the imagination, offering minimal additional details. The most significant piece of information shared is the official release date: November 10, 2023. Anticipation mounts as we await news regarding the platforms that will play host to this revamped experience. It's safe to assume that both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series will welcome Modern Warfare III, alongside its counterpart on PC.
