Return Policy

1. General Returns: Most products purchased from uksoftwaretech.co.uk are eligible for return within 30 days from the date of delivery receipt.

2. Statutory Cancellation Right: You possess the right to cancel your order without any reason within 14 days from the day you receive the item. Detailed cancellation instructions are available in clause 8 of our Conditions of Use & Sale.

3. Voluntary Returns Policy: Beyond the statutory cancellation rights, products can be returned within 30 days if they remain unused and undamaged. This policy exists in addition to, not in replacement of, your statutory rights.

4. Condition for Returns: Returned items must be in the state they were received. New items should be unused and undamaged, while used items shouldn’t show any extra signs of wear or damage.

5. Exceptions: The following items are not returnable unless they are defective:

    - Items that can't be returned due to health or hygiene concerns if unsealed after delivery.

    - Sealed audio/video recordings or software if opened post-delivery.

    - Custom-made or personalized items.

    - Perishable products or those that expire rapidly.

    - Fully rendered and accepted services.

    - Digital content delivered without tangible media if delivery began with your acknowledged consent, understanding that you can't cancel once delivery starts.

6. Defective Items After 30 Days: If a product turns defective after our 30-day return window, UKST will attempt a repair. If repair isn't possible, a replacement will be provided. If that's not an option, a refund will be issued. This doesn't cover items damaged from misuse or consumables like batteries after 30 days. More details are available in About Warranty Repairs.

7. Cost of Returns: For returns of items in their original condition, email us to receive a complimentary return label. RoyalMail manages all returns.

Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing: Each order requires a processing time of 1 business day before shipping.

2. Stock Availability: If an item isn't immediately available, the estimated shipping date is provided during checkout. Typically, such items are dispatched within 2-4 weeks.

3. Shipping Charges:

    - Standard: 3-5 business days - Complimentary for orders over £19.99; otherwise, £2.99.

    - Fast: 2 business days - Complimentary for orders over £149; otherwise, £7.99.

    - Express 1 business day - Complimentary for orders over £169; otherwise, £9.99.

    - Same-Day: Applicable for orders confirmed before 1 pm BST - £14.99.

4. Tracking: A shipping confirmation email with a tracking number will be sent upon dispatch. For purchases or pre-orders, tracking can be accessed within your account.

5. Destination: We deliver to the UK and select European countries. Deliveries to PO Boxes and the Channel Islands are not possible.

6. Backorders: Items on backorder generally become available within 2-3 weeks. A shipping confirmation will be emailed once dispatched.

7. Address Changes: Requests for address modifications can be made via our contact page, citing your order number or Postal code. However, due to our expedited processing, address changes might not always be accommodated. Non-deliverable orders will be returned and credited to your account. We reserve the right to cancel orders with address changes due to potential fraud concerns, without prejudice.

8. Shipping Days: Shipments are made from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. No weekend deliveries. Ground shipping might be limited to certain areas.
